People often ask Richard "What it is like to be a minister?" In response he
tells stories of his ministry experience.

Really, you can't make this stuff up. It is funny what happens to us as God
transforms us into Jesus' image.

The Pomegranate

The pomegranate is a symbol of kingship, for me that is the Kingship of Jesus Christ over all. It is also symbol of fruitfulness; that the Gospel should bear fruit through the witness of believers.

Sh'ma means 'hear' and strongly implies 'obey'. It references Deuteronomy 6:4-5. The Shema is recited by devout persons of the Jewish faith and it is the first word of Deuteronomy 6:4

Each morning I recite Deuteronomy 6:4-5
and as a Christian I also recite Romans 6:4-6

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One.
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your strength.

We were therefore buried with Christ
through baptism into death, in order that,
just as Christ was raised from the dead
through the glory of the Father,
we too may live a new life.

Shalom: Richard

"Richard's colourful stories remind me not to miss the presence and love of an eternal Father who has and continues to extend magnificent and extravagant
love."
