I used it initially to repair a pair of Merrell Mix Master trail runner shoes, brand new but sole was glued poorly and was separating badly... I debated between buying the standard Shoe Goo and this product, but Shoe Goo can be messy and difficult to work with while this Shoe-Fix glue had the appeal of apparently being much easier and faster... I decided to give it a try... Now, about 8 months later of heavy use through runs, hikes, mud, water and exercise, the glue has held up PERFECTLY. Amazing stuff....

Having used a different product (in a metal tube) in the past, I took a risk on this product based solely on the reviews. Now I'm back to order more and write a VERY POSITIVE review... I used all of my first bottle on a half dozen pair of different types of shoes (sneakers, sandals, etc.)...
Application is simple: not much adhesive is applied to one side of the repair, and the parts only need to be held together for about thirty seconds before a solid bond is formed. I repaired a pair of shoes I use at work as a letter carrier (for about 13 miles a day) and have used them for four months so far...
