To date, Six String Kids has helped to repair and donate over 160 instruments!
WHO WE ARE
Six String Kids is a family project created by Michael, Mark, and Sarah Hemment in September 2017. The idea is simple–we collect high-quality musical instruments from generous donors, make any needed repairs, and work with our music charity partners (see below) to identity and deliver them to talented young musicians in the Boston area.
HOW TO DONATE
1. Email us: sixstringkids@gmail.com
2. We’ll schedule a time to pick up your instrument.
3. We’ll repair and clean it at our expense.
4. We’ll help you donate it to a child or music education program through one of our charity partners.
