Welcome to the Church of St. Andrew

Please note that we have a new YouTube channel. We will be live-streaming services directly to that channel soon, but in the meantime you can find us most Sundays at 8 a.m. on Facebook.

If you missed Meditations on the Passion, the Good Friday Cantata by Bob Franke, you’ll find it on the YouTube channel.

St. Andrew’s Centennial Year

We have been celebrating our centennial all year! We hope you have enjoyed the timeline in the Cloister Gallery, accompanied by historical photo displays. The final display, to be mounted after the spring rummage sale on May 11, will focus on parishioners through the years.

Art scavenger hunt begins April 21: Starting April 21, take part in an art scavenger hunt! Pick up a booklet after the service or from the table in the Parish Hall, and search for all the wonderful artworks inside the church building. Fill in the location, name of artist, and comments and then submit your completed booklet by the end of May. Sometime in June, we’ll have an art tour and will read some of the compiled comments. This should be fun for individuals as well as for families, so get ready to start sleuthing!

Marya De Carlen visit May 5: We have enjoyed visits from past clergy Kevin Bean and Arrington Chambliss, and we will welcome former assistant rector Marya De Carlen on May 5! Be sure also to save the date for our Roaring Twenties Dinner and Dance on June 29! We have additional special services and events planned. Read more and see other Century Celebration dates here.

Read Kevin Bean’s sermon, delivered November 12
Read Bishop Alan Gates’s sermon, delivered September 8.
