Suneagles Golf Club
A.W. Tillinghast, one of the world's foremost designers, created Suneagles Golf Course in 1926. He designed other beautiful courses like Winged Foot, Baltusrol (upper and lower), Bethpage State Park Black Course and many more. Suneagles may not be among the best known of Tillinghast's designs, but It has recorded some significant golf history. When the New Jersey Open took place here in 1935, a young golfer named Byron Nelson won it for his first professional victory.
