Our style of instruction can connect with students of every age, and we teach underlying techniques to make progress satisfying and fun. Private lessons are paced for each student’s interest.

The Music Learning Experience Both In-Person And Online
Superpowers Music Academy has two inspiring studio locations — in Pasadena and Los Feliz, California. We also offer remote lessons for students from across the nation and around the world to connect with their instructor. Entertainment and enrichment go together for unique distance learning opportunities in music. Using the video chat platform Zoom, remote online music lessons have become part of a growing movement to bring cultural enrichment into people’s lives and homes.

Superpowers Music Academy offers guitar and bass lessons for all ages and experience levels, from the beginning player to the advanced musician. You will learn to sustain your talent and progress. You may bring songs and music pieces you want to learn, in addition to our method. You can even learn how to write your own music. We will also learn to play by ear—this works great for very young children, and also those with reading disabilities.
Enrollment is ongoing on a monthly basis. Lessons are 30 minutes and 60 minutes. Beginners and young children are best suited to 30 minute lessons. 60 minute lessons work well after the student has had experience.

Superpowers Music Academy offers guitar lessons using the Suzuki Music Method for ages 3 and up to adult. The Suzuki Method aims to create an environment for learning music which parallels the linguistic environment of acquiring a native language. This is a rewarding and successful method to enable children—and adults—to begin playing a musical instrument.
