Wedding Band Bull Roasts Nightclub Band Family Concerts High School Reunions Variety Entertainment

The Oracle Band is a six piece variety band  & wedding band providing very affordable live variety music & entertainment at wedding receptions, private parties, college and high school reunions, restaurants and nightclubs throughout the Maryland, Northern Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania area.  

We feature rich six-part vocal harmonies and a fat 12-15 piece musical sound from a reasonably sized (and priced) 6-piece variety band.  As an independent band, we are not directly affiliated with any talent agency, broker, or entertainment agency.  This allows us to keep our rates low, and for you to deal directly with the band, rather than through some third party like a talent agency or entertainment broker. 

We offer a free E-mail Newsletter to let everyone know when and where the band will be performing publicly, lots of other information on the band and it's activities, as well as other fun things like the latest music entertainment news and musically related humor & trivia.  Newsletter subscribers also benefit from occasional coupons good for free or discounted admission to clubs that normally charge a cover charge, and periodic contests & door prizes geared specifically for our newsletter subscribers.  Join today! 

Oracle Repertoire

Oracle's songlist consists of well over 500 songs, covering music styles ranging from Rock & Roll, Current Top 40, Swing, Standards, Country, Classic Rock, Oldies and Motown tunes from the 1940s up to today.  We also feature links to many of the song lyrics and MP3 or RealAudio excerpts from this songlist page.  

With complex vocal harmonies, a sizzling electric fiddle, versatile guitars, exciting trumpet work, driving percussion, coupled with the use of cutting edge music technology and spectacular lighting, Oracle covers the hit songs of yesterday and today with a full band sound that actually sounds fuller and fatter than that of much larger groups.  We are most definitely NOT your typical wedding band entertainment!

An evening with Oracle is an experience like no other.  Each performance is conducted with high energy dance music, variety entertainment, and a large dose of fun that becomes contagious.  It’s not just a performance…it’s a PARTY!!!

Wedding Bands

Oracle is one of the most versatile and experienced wedding bands in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC area.  

We also help do away with the "Live Band vs DJ" question.  We're actually BOTH!  A live DJ takes over in between the band's sets at no extra charge, ensuring continuous entertainment.  You don't have to choose one or the other.

Unlike so many bands out there we recognize that it is YOUR wedding, and we want to do things YOUR way.  We guarantee that your reception will reflect YOUR personality.  There's no "cookie-cutter" approach where every reception is basically the same. We do it YOUR way! As we mentioned, Oracle is not an entertainment agency, but rather an independent band.  You get much more personalized service than you would through any entertainment agency or music talent agent since you are dealing DIRECTLY with the band.

Unlike many other independent wedding bands, Oracle is fully insured.  This permits us to perform at all of the area's most exclusive venues, most of which require a Certificate of Insurance before they will permit a band to perform.
