Sports have united contries and people after events that have fragmented the world's peace. The 1948 Olympics, officially known as the game of the XIV Olympiad, were international multi-sport event which was held in London. After a 12 year haitus because of Workd War, these were the first Olympics since the 1936 games in Berlin. The Olympic Games are considered the world's foremost sports competition with more than 200 nations participating.

The Educational value of Sports inspires people to contribute to a peaceful future for humankind. One of the objectives of sport is to promote peace, respect, mutual understanding and goodwill that directly relates to the United Nations goals.

Sports promotes respect, friendship, solidarity and equality for disabled individuals.

Sports and Games play an important role in prioritizinf and implementing the convention on the rights of persons with disabilities. WEISO goals is to bring attention to sportsmanship in Paralympic events and promote sports for persons with disabilities reducing discrimination and highlighting their skills.

What is S20

WEISO is facilitating the creation od the S20, a principle forum for Member States, Memners od large sporting organization with Heads of States, Heads of Governments and Sports Ministers to meet annually to promote discussion and action about sports during a global sporting event. The S20 will have a commission formed from sports experts from around the world.

World Empowerment International Sports Organization WEISO's vision is to build long term partnerships with the United Nations, Governments, Regional organizations, Local Communities, Private Sectior, IGOs, NGOs, Academia, Think Tanks in order to raise awareness in ethics, research, imple,emtations, social impact, technical solutions, guidance, guide policy makers to fair and balanced regulations in any sporting activity.

Sports play a significant role in keeping kids off the streets and away from dangers and violance. This fact is even more visible in the developing wold. Allowing kids to participate in sporting activities can play a major role in improving their lives both academically and socially. children participating in team sports are learning accountability, dediction, and leadership, among many other traits and skills.
