We are committed to social and environmental responsibility. We will use only softwood with the optimum moisture levels for our products. Most of our wood supply would come from the cut offs of other local forestry companies: we take pride in planning to make something useful out of wood that would otherwise go to waste.

What will make Westcoast MDF truly exceptional is our combination of premium Canadian inputs with a customized, German-engineered manufacturing process. This two-way compression technology will reduce the energy requirements of our factory while simultaneously increasing production speed. The factory will be vertically integrated and will manufacture its own glue. Our high product quality will be achieved at cost savings that will be passed on to our customers. Our customers require top quality, and we will be pleased to deliver extraordinary MDF and HDF products manufactured to ISO standards.
Softwood sourced from the forest close to our factory in interior British Columbia will have the ideal moisture levels for MDF and HDF manufacture.
Our offcut re-use program will gather scraps of hemlock, balsam, spruce, cedar, and pine from the harvest sites of other local forestry companies. Our footprint in the forest will remain small as these would otherwise be incinerated or trucked to landfill. Minimal harvesting will be undertaken by Westcoast MDF.
Canadian forestry regulation is strict, and recognized globally as a first class example of sustainable resource development.
Our manufacturing facility in BC will be situated near key inputs of wood fibre and a major port. We will also be placed in the midst of a skilled labour market and community infrastructure.
Westcoast MDF will be ideally located for shipping product anywhere in the world. Our manufacturing plant in British Columbia, will be connected by rail and road to the rest of Canada, the United States, and the nearby deep-water port. This will translate to fast and cost-effective delivery of our products.
We will manufacture MDF in all industry sizes, starting from the thinnest to the thickest. Our MDF will be well suited to commercial and residential furniture, store fixtures, shelving, and cabinets. The optimal moisture content of our raw materials, combined with our manufacturing process, will result in a waterproof product, which will come in different colors.
