If you would like to travel the world in the safety of a group with likeminded people to experience cultures and traditions unlike your own—to destinations you only dream of—engaging in activities that you see only on television or hear others speak of, well now you can.

What I Do

Hello there, Annette is my name and my mission is to provide a social movement platform that organizes a network of like-minded diverse educators of various ethnicities — along with their tribe or squad, and any other person desiring to partake in global adventures; whereby we travel the world for enjoyment, while simultaneously discovering others’ varied ways of life.

What makes YOLO…Let’s Travel a unique group travel experience is that the focus is on multicultural inclusiveness, regardless of race, sexual orientation or creed — breeding global unity; and not exclusively targeting one race or gender -- which promotes perpetual division or isolation. It is my belief that culture awareness contributes to positive relationships in society. Traveling the globe makes us all more informed and enriched humans, which lends to our world becoming an illustrious place for all mankind to live peacefully.

As educators and people of influence, we have a vast amount of impact on the minds of the youth we are charged to oversee. I think it’s high time we elevate our leverage. Educators if you engage in YOLO…Let’s Travel group trips, you will be able to tour during teacher assigned days off — ensuring that you will not miss out on travel opportunities, and learn from those you explore with; but more importantly, becoming more culturally conscience by having a hand in social movement efforts aimed to bridge the gap of cultural ignorance — eradicating misunderstandings that are embedded in the history of the civilization.

As we take our travel experiences back to our respective circle to share with those we teach and collaborate with — broadening their minds and encouraging them to become enlightened in order to gain understanding, appreciation, and acceptance of others’ values, traditions and beliefs; we therefore spread our message of oneness. Moreover, it is a phenomenal way to enhance our pedagogy in real time — bringing current events and ethnic knowledge into the classroom. I envision YOLO, Let’s Travel as a school
without walls.
